Defibrillators
KCDA currently is bidding defibrillators, this bid will go to our Board of Directors for approval on August 19,2005 .  Following that approval, the results of the bid will be posted on the KCDA Website.

New Products

Splox
A new way to handle and load paper.  This newly designed box weighs only 25lbs and lays open to display 2,500 sheets. Currently two items are available through KCDA, item 17624 (8 ˝ x 11) 20lb white and 17626, three hole punched.  Since the majority of injuries occur while employees are lifting, SPLOX helps combat workplace injuries.

Capital Projects Program
Building , remodeling, upgrading classrooms?  KCDA Capital Projects Program may be just the thing to help your district save money.  The program runs for a 12-month period and covers all purchases within your district for Furniture, Appliances, AV Equipment, Musical Instruments and Equipment, Science Equipment, Floor Coverings, Playgrounds and Roofing. Skyward (Wespac)
KCDA has signed an agreement with Skyward to begin integration of KCDA Supply Link to the WSIPC Wespac financial system.  Our goal is to complete this project by the Spring of 2005 when WSIPC begins Beta testing.  This integration will allow users to enter orders once and populate their financial system and Supply Link without the need for  double entry of information.

Units of Measure
To meet the ever-shrinking storage space available at schools, KCDA is evaluating the selling units for many products.  Currently we have reduced the ordering quantity on school pencils, glue and tape and will be looking at other items.  To locate these items, check KCDA Supply Link under “New Products”

KCDA has just awarded our Printer Toner award. We are pleased to see a significant decrease in pricing that will be passed on to our members.
