KCDA New Computer Software
KCDA is
preparing to go live with our new internal business software on
January 3, 2005. We are
excited by its many features, as they will allow us to meet the needs
of our members at a much higher level. All employees have been
training and practicing on this robust system to ensure the transition will
be completely transparent to our members.
Skyward (Wespack)
In
September we had our first conference call with our E-Commerce developers
and Skyward to outline the steps necessary to integrate the two systems.
All indications are that this will be easily accomplished and available
when districts begin using the new financial software from WSIPC
KCDA Catalog
The
KCDA printed catalog is now being distributed and should be in all
locations by the middle of October. If you do not receive it or need
additional copies, please contact customerservice@kcda.org

Product Alert
Paper Pallets
KCDA
received several call from member warehouses regarding the inability to use
electric pallet jacks on the Grays Harbor pallets. As a
result of these concerns, the Grays Harbor mill has changed
the style of their pallets. Schools ordering 8.5”x11”
white Grays Harbor paper by the pallet will see this
improvement on orders leaving KCDA’s warehouse after October 4, 2004 . Our
apologies for any inconvenience you may have experienced. This change
should save users of electric pallet jacks time and energy in the
redistribution of the Grays Harbor paper. Thank
you Grays Harbor for reacting to the needs of KCDA and it’s
membership.
