The KCDA Hot Sheet has been developed to alert members to new contracts, market or price changes, and contracts that are nearing renewal.

 

Year End Schedule

The KCDA Warehouse will be closed for year-end inventory and the installation of our internal business software. Although we will not be shipping orders from December 17, 2005 - January 2, 2006, KCDA office personnel will be available to answer questions by phone.

 

Warehouse Closure

  • 12/16/05 - Last day to ship orders for 2005 delivery.

  • 12/19/05 - Last billing date.

  • 12/19/05 to 1/2/06 - KCDA warehouse closed for inventory and computer conversion, KCDA office personnel will be available.

  • 1/3/06 - KCDA begins shipping orders.

AusPen

A dry erase marker that will last for 2 years? Impossible you say?  Not with an AusPen. One AusPen, the reversible nib and 2 refills are equal to 216 disposable pens. AusPens can be purchased individually by color or in sets of 6 markers with 6 bottles of ink (KCDA No. 25600) or 6 markers (KCDA No. 25606). 

 

Some hints for using AusPen.

  • Always shake the ink before refilling.

  • Stand the pen on its top overnight after refilling or if running a bit dry.

  • Dab ink from the refill on the nib if pen should dry out.

Coming in 2006

KCDA’s new business software offers new exciting services to our members. Some of those are:

  • Budget codes entered on Supply Link, or included on your faxed order will now display on your invoice.

  • You will be able to check out orders placed on Supply Link that are under the minimum of $50. A prompt will ask if you would like to add a $2.50 minimum order fee and proceed with checkout.

  • Pricing for all orders will be firm at the time of confirmation.

This is just the beginning . . .  We will share additional enhancements in the coming months.

 

Don’t forget the Furniture Fair scheduled for January 25, 2006 in the KCDA Warehouse. Based on the response from vendors, who will be displaying furniture, and KCDA members, who are planning to attend, this promises to be a fantastic event.
