Tour – You are invited!
The Pacon Corporation will be hosting a tour of the Longview Fibre Mill on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 .  Longview Fibre is best known to KCDA members as the primary producer of colored and white kraft paper rolls (also known as "butcher paper").  This will be one of the few LOCAL opportunities to discover how colored papers are produced.  Longview Fibre is also a major manufacturer of container board, boxes and traditional white butcher paper (meat/food wrap). Steve Hermsen, Pacon's Regional Sales Manager for the West, will be on hand to discuss Pacon's long relationship with Longview Fibre as well as the extensive product offering that Pacon has available for schools.  Mr. Hermsen will provide literature about Pacon's product offerings as well as a few samples.

Furniture Fair
Mark your calendar!
This spring’s Furniture Fair was met with such enthusiasm from members and vendors, we are planning another for January 25,2006 .  We need your help!  Please email sveldhuis@kcda.org and let us know vendors, specific manufacturers and furniture lines you would like see represented.  Watch www.kcda.org for more information about this upcoming event.

Purchase HP Ink and Toner Cartridges through KCDA and qualify for free products!

KCDA’s current HP contract includes an incentive program for all HP Ink and Toner cartridge products purchased by members.  KCDA accumulates points, which can be redeemed by members for free merchandise including printers and digital cameras.  Please watch www.kcda.org for a list of the number of redeemable points for qualifying districts.
