Welcome to the KCDA HotSheet

Welcome to first school edition of the KCDA HotSheet.

 

In 2004, at the request of School District Purchasing Managers, KCDA developed a monthly HotSheet containing information regarding new contracts, market or price changes, and contracts nearing renewal. Meeting with great success, we were encouraged to develop an edition for school personnel.

New Products

Test Scanners and Forms

KCDA now has a bid in place for Scantron compatible forms and test scanning machines (Grademaster and Advantage). Compare prices, you may find Grademaster Scanner and forms to be less expensive than your current "lease" program; you might be able to afford 2 machines with our terrific bid pricing.  Check www.kcda.org for ordering instructions and pricing or contact Kelly Waltenburg or Melinda Kinsley for further information.

 

Premier Agenda

KCDA now offers Premier’s line-up of student agendas that can be customized to reflect each school’s identity and culture. Agenda can enhanced via a wide range of supplements, with content focused on issues such as social responsibility, character development, literacy, conflict resolution, study skills and financial planning. Premier has also partnered with Kaplan to create the new Premier Kaplan Agenda™, designed with a focus on helping high school students prepare for standardized tests and the college admissions process.  Many of Premier’s products and programs are supported with teacher editions, family newsletters, faculty in-services, online extension activities, back-to-school night presentations and/or built-in assessment pieces. Be sure to remember, KCDA’s contract pricing for these items includes delivery to your location. Alerts

New Products

We remember a time when it used to take a year to “get the word out” on new products.  This timeline is now non-existent!  Check out our new products category on KCDA Supply Link. We are updating it daily with exciting new items.

 

Return Authorization Requests

Return Authorization’s can now be requested electronically.  Forms are posted on Supply Link and www.kcda.org that can be sent electronically or printed and faxed. Once received, we will issue a call tag for pick up and contact you with the Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA).

KCDA No Fault Return Policy - Within 30 days of purchase, any item may be returned for any reason for full credit with no restocking fee. Please note, Furniture and special order items may still be assessed a restocking fee based upon the policies of KCDA vendors

 

KCDA Catalogs

We haven’t forgotten! Beginning the week of October 24th, KCDA will begin distributing catalogs for the 2005-2006 school year. If you do not receive your catalog by the beginning of November, please let us know.

KCDA has added a calendar of events and important dates on www.kcda.org.  If you need to know our holiday schedule, or when we are closed for inventory, you will be able to locate that information easily.

 

Furniture Fair - Mark Your Calendar!

This spring’s Furniture Fair was met with such enthusiasm from both members and vendors; we are planning another for January 25, 2006.  We need your help!  Please email sveldhuis@kcda.org and let us know vendors, specific manufacturers and furniture lines you would like see represented. Watch www.kcda.org for more information about this upcoming event.  This is the perfect opportunity to visit KCDA and see furniture from over 50 manufacturers in one location.
