Paper Prices

Paper prices continue to rise; raw material, production costs, fuel, transportation costs and mill closures contributing to each price announcement.  Several mills shut down for maintenance for 1-2 weeks over the July holiday, further reducing inventories.  Rumors abound regarding additional price increase announcements for August AND September.  Allocations remain in effect for most mills.

Bid #06-019C for Printing Papers was awarded on the evening of July 20, 2006. This bid covers mill direct deliveries within the states of Washington, Oregon and Idaho.  Please check KCDA’s on-line order system (Supply Link @ www.kcda.org) for the latest pricing for less than truck load quantities. Please note: With so many different brands being purchased by KCDA as this time for KCDA item #17810, we are unable to guarantee the brand/label that may be shipped from our warehouse stock. We can guarantee that all sheets meet the same high quality standards for appearance and performance.
